PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. It is the process of taking a certain amount of blood from the human body, separating the plasma part with special processes and returning it to the body by injection. With PRP applications, it is possible to cure some diseases in the body and rejuvenate the skin through people's own blood. In PRP applications, where people's own blood is preferred without the use of drugs, cell renewal, which slows down due to some factors, is also prevented. PRP is used for skin rejuvenation, hair loss, some orthopaedic disease treatments and pain treatments.

In Which Diseases Are PRP Applications Effective?
PRP treatment, in which platelet cells are important, is used in different branches of medicine. PRP is very good for leg wounds that do not heal due to diabetes and varicose veins. It is also preferred to accelerate the wound healing process seen in the last taste of conditions such as tendonitis, tendon injuries and dental implants. Many changes occur in aging skin within the scope of different factors. In this case, the elasticity of the skin also decreases. Wrinkles on the skin increase significantly. At the same time, sagging-like problems also occur at some points of the skin. The general reason for these is the decrease and deterioration in fibres such as collagen in the skin. With PRP treatment for anti-aging purposes, it is aimed to increase the fibres such as collagen in the skin through the growth factors contained in platelets. PRP is performed at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks. It is planned with 3 or 4 session applications. Natural rejuvenation is provided without giving drugs or foreign substances to the body. Those who have PRP can see improvements in their skin from the first session. In the vast majority of people who have PRP, wrinkles are reduced and an increase in the elasticity of the skin is observed.

How is PRP Treatment Performed?
PRP applications are made with specialised doctors in the field. This is a mandatory system. At first, the blood taken from the patient is placed in a sterile special tube. The substances in the blood in the centrifuge tube are separated in an average of 5 to 8 minutes. In this way, the rich plasma part is also completely separated. After the procedure, the mixture is applied to the required area by injection method. PRP applications are applied alternately with mesotherapy application according to the needs of the people.  After the PRP cure is completed, the continuation of the process can be provided perfectly with 1 or 2 injections every year.

What are the Reasons for PRP Treatment?
To give the skin elasticity and shine
To prevent the formation of problems such as wrinkles or depressions
Prevent hair loss,
To ensure that the skin is restored after laser-like procedures,
To revitalise the skin in cracks, wounds or similar skin damage
PRP applications also provide non-surgical solutions to conditions such as Achilles tendon rupture.
In the field of medical aesthetics, it is applied in areas such as hands and face, arms, neck, décolleté and inner legs.

What are the Side Effects of PRP?

However, people with infections in the areas where PRP applications will be performed, as well as breastfeeding or pregnant women should not have this procedure.
